Confidence does not depend on any external conditions, it is governed by our mental attitude. Can you look in the mirror and say something positive about yourself? If not then you have been playing the wrong mental tape.

What if you could change that for something more positive? That’s what we call empowering beliefs. There are many ways to do that , one way I will cover in this post is to reframe your negative questions and thoughts by empowering ones.

For example instead of saying “why should I bother applying for this job?” Say “what skills can I bring to the job that is unique?”. Or instead of “why Am I so unhappy?” Say ” what can I change to create happiness?” Or instead of saying “I am powerless ” you can say ” “I am capable of generating my success.”. Do you get the gist of it?

You can use this technic proactively, in the moment or continuously. Over time you will notice a positive change in how you think about yourself which ultimately will have a positive impact on your self-confidence and self-esteem.
